SPE eSession: Integrating Fiber-Optic Sensing to Optimize the Completion of Unconventional Wells
Contains 3 Component(s), Includes CreditsThis web-based technology session will feature four technical presentations that highlight recent field case studies on the theme of using fiber-optic measurements to optimize the completion and stimulation of unconventional wells. Join industry experts as they describe how in-well fiber-optic well sensors can monitor hydraulic fracture stimulations and the results used to diagnose fracture treatments, understand stimulation effectiveness, and optimize future completions. The technical presentations will be followed by a moderated Q&A-driven panel discussion. Specific topics will include integrating fiber-based data with that obtained by other methods to evaluate cluster and stage design strategies, fluid and proppant placement, fracture characterization and well-to-well interactions.
