Jessica Iriarte (Moderator)

Research Manager

Well Data Labs

Jessica leads the Research and Development team at Well Data Labs. The team analyzes large completion data sets to drive engagement with customers and to automate the recognition of events in time-series metered frac data. She holds BS and MS degrees in Petroleum Engineering and has over 7 years of experience working with well completions, research, and data analytics.

Jessica serves as the SPE Denver Section Young Professionals Chairperson and is a recipient of the 2018 Denver Business Journal Top Woman in Energy and 2019 SPE Rocky Mountain Regional Young Member Outstanding Service Award.

David P. Craig

Director Stimulation Design

Oxy

David P. Craig is Director of Stimulation Design for Occidental Oil & Gas Corporation, instructor for SAGA Wisdom, and co-owner of DFITpro.com. He is a recognized diagnostic fracture-injection/falloff test theorist, designer, and expert analyst. David also developed a method for identifying the number of producing fractures in a multifractured horizontal well and developed a process for identifying, evaluating, and stimulating bypassed or ineffectively stimulated zones in oil or gas wells. He earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1989, an MS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1991, and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2006.

Kyle Haustveit

Geoscience Manager

Devon Energy

Kyle is a professional petroleum engineer with experience in unconventional reservoirs, focusing on completions design, diagnostics and field development. He holds his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech and an executive MBA in energy from the University of Oklahoma. An active volunteer for the SPE, Kyle serves on multiple boards and committees and is an SPE Distinguished Lecturer for the 2020-2021 season.

Mike Mayerhofer

Director of Technology

Liberty Oilfield Services

Mike Mayerhofer is the Director of Technology at Liberty Oilfield Services. He leads a team of engineers providing big data analytics and engineering solutions to optimize fracture completions in unconventional shale and tight oil & gas plays. He has worked on various SPE committees and is the recipient of the 2009 SPE Gulf Coast North America Region Completion Optimization & Technology Award. He has a Doctorate in Petroleum Engineering from Mining University Leoben in Austria.

Paul Weddle

VP, Completions

Tap Rock Resources

Paul has held various roles in completions, production, asset development, and technical leadership since graduating with a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in 2005. He is currently the VP of Completions at Tap Rock Resources. Paul is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, has authored several technical papers, and served as a committee member for both the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technical Conference and the SPE Well Completions for Unconventional Resource Development Workshop.
