An important factor in the performance of separation vessels is the distribution of fluid flows within the vessels. In this webinar we will discuss the effects of inlet piping layouts on the flow distribution as it enters a vessel. The main objective of this webinar is to provide basic insight in the effects of upstream piping layout on flow distribution into a vessel.
Cris Heijckers has a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands, with process equipment as specialization. Upon completion of his thesis on the characterization of an Axial Flow demisting cyclone, he joined CDS Engineering. At CDS, he worked for ten years in Research & Development, (senior) process engineer and manager functions. The last six years at CDS he was responsible for process design and sales of separation equipment in the Asia Pacific region. In 2008, Cris co-founded Kranji Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore, a company that specializes in separation knowledge and services such as CFD and design analysis studies, R&D and separation vessel design software. His R&D, offshore and design and analysis experience have provided him with in-depth insights into the intricacies of separation phenomena and equipment.
