Tapas Kumar Sengupta

Director (Offshore) of ONGC

Tapas Kumar Sengupta is currently the Director (Offshore) of ONGC with additional charge of Director( I/C) Marketing. He is also Director( I/C)-OPaL & also a board member in Pawan Hans Ltd. He is a first-class Chemical Engineering graduate from Jadavpur University, Calcutta with a Diploma in Management & also having a leadership certificate from ESCP, France & IMI Delhi.

Professor Omowumi Iledare

SPE Regional Director, Africa

Professor Omowumi Iledare is Chirota and Emmanuel Egbogah Distinguished Professor of Petroleum, EnergyEconomics Management and Strategy. He is also the Director of Emerald Energy Insititute, University of Port Harcourt, Nigera and Professor Emeritus in Petroleum Economics and Policy Research at the Center for Energy Studies, Louisiana State University, USA. Professor Iledare earned his degree in Petroleum Engineering with honors from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; then an M.S. in Energy Resources from University of Pittsburgh’s School of Engineering; and a Ph.D. in Mineral and Energy Resources with specailization in oil and gas economics from West Virginia University, College of Mineral and Energy Resources.

Cesar Patiño

Cesar Patiño, IEA EOR TCP, is the Chairman – International Energy Agency and a Senior Reservoir Engineer at ECOPETROL Colombia. He has 26 years’ experience, with roles at Wireline, Petrophysics, Technology, EOR and Circular Economy applications. He pioneered Geothermal integration of the subsurface value of current assets to Exploration, with Co-Production alternatives, Methodologies, and Innovative Process. He is leading White Hydrogen as part of the Ecopetrol Strategy, unlocking database information and integrating different disciplines to develop it at Colombia and international assets. He is also developing New methodologies and indicator for Assets within Decarbonization needs : ECOMACC, Abatement cost curve for field development plan with Carbono intensity evaluations.
