Learning To Be A Better Negotiator
Includes a Live Event on 06/02/2021 at 9:30 AM (EDT)
If you have ever had a conversation with someone under the age of 10 then welcome to the world of professional negotiations. Children are master negotiators and are equipped with a range of ‘special skills’ that many a seasoned professional has given in to. If that feels familiar then don’t feel bad, children acquire the rudiments of the Theory of Mind at around the age of 4, added to innate characteristics such as the gaze cueing paradigm and kindcenschema (child schema) rendering many of us at a loss when they ask “please can I…”
In your day to day life as a petroleum professional you are surrounded by seasoned negotiators; business leaders, salespeople, marketers, lawyers even politicians, many of them have studied to understand the nuances of human interaction and persuasion to better prepare them for communications that require these skills every day. Please join James Wimbury who will share some thoughts on how you can structure your lifelong journey of learning how to be a better negotiator.
This webinar is categorized under the Business, Management, and Leadership technical discipline.
