SPE eSession: Fiber-Optic Sensing for Production and Injection Quantification and Optimization

With increasing use of distributed sensing over the past decade, it is desired that currently available qualitative observations of production and injection are transformed into quantified measures such as rates, distances, and phase distribution. This web-based technology session will feature four technical presentations that highlight recent field case studies using fiber-optic measurements to quantify and optimize production and injection processes.  Join industry experts as they describe how in-well fiber-optic measurements provide interpreted, quantitative solutions for fiber-optic measurements in the wellbore and near wellbore regions during production and injection and share how the results are used to optimize production and ultimate recovery. The technical presentations will be followed by a moderated Q&A-driven discussion.
