Darcy Spady is a professional engineer, independent director and technical advisor. He was the 2018 Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPE) president. Darcy is a founding partner of Carbon Connect International Inc.and has a 33-year career in the conventional oil, heavy oil and unconventional gas business on both the operator and service sectors the industry. Darcy is also an active grain farmer in Central Alberta and the industry chair for the Remediation & Reclamation program at Olds College. He is a Petroleum Engineering graduate from the University of Alberta

Robert L. Kleinberg is Senior Research Scholar at the Columbia University Center on Global Energy Policy, and Senior Fellow at the Boston University Institute for Sustainable Energy.  His current interests include energy technology and economics, and environmental and regulatory issues associated with the oil and gas industry.  From 1980 to 2018, Kleinberg was employed by Schlumberger, the premier oilfield service company, attaining the rank of Schlumberger Fellow, one of about a dozen to have held this rank in a workforce of 100,000.  From 1978 to 1980 he was a post-doctoral fellow at the Exxon Corporate Research Laboratory.  Kleinberg was educated at the University of California, Berkeley (B.S. Chemistry, 1971) and the University of California, San Diego (Ph.D. Physics, 1978).  Kleinberg has authored more than 120 academic and professional papers, holds 41 U.S. patents, and has invented several geophysical instruments that have been commercialized on a worldwide basis.  Kleinberg is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and serves on the Board on Earth Sciences and Resources of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

Manfredi Caltagirone leads UNEP work on methane emissions in the energy sector, including the International Methane Emissions Observatory. In UNEP, he was previously engaged in the establishment and operations of the Climate Technology Centre and Network under the UNFCCC. Prior to joining the UN Environment Programme, Manfredi worked as policy advisor on climate technologies at the Italian Ministry for the Environment. He has been a Research Fellow at the United Nations Foundation and at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard. Manfredi holds a J.D. from the II University of Rome, and a MPA from Harvard Kennedy School. 

Bill is the Air Manager and Global Expertise Team Lead for Shell, where he leads a team tasked with driving compliance across Shell on air emission commitments and requirements and positioning Shell to effectively respond to future air emissions-related risks and opportunities. Bill is passionate about delivering energy solutions that balance environmental and social implications against other business considerations. He strives to position business as a leader in developing innovative and sustainable solutions when realizing energy opportunities. Bill holds an environmental engineering degree from the University of Guelph.

Beatrix has been working for Shell for 28 years in a variety of operational and corporate roles, and is currently based in Germany. She is part of a team that is responsible for performance reporting on sustainability metrics for the Shell Group. It is her role in particular to monitor external stakeholders’ expectations which are constantly evolving, and to collaborate across different departments to develop Shell’s reporting and disclosure strategy. It also includes leading and participating in several working groups of initiatives (e.g. OGCI) and trade associations (e.g. IPIECA). 

Since joining the American Petroleum Institute in 2001, Matthew’s focus has been air emissions across the supply chain of the oil and natural gas industry.  During his career, he has worked to better understand emissions and engaged during the development of numerous state and federal air regulations. He is now the Director of The Environmental Partnership, an industry-led voluntary program whose mission is the continuous improvement of the industry's environmental performance.  

As Strategy & Policy Vice President of OGCI, Julien Perez is responsible for coordinating actions and commitments, developing external policy views, managing relations with institutions and external stakeholders, and providing strategic direction to drive the future development of the organization. 

Previously, Perez was head of Climate & Energy Services at Ernst & Young, where he assisted private and public players in setting up and implementing low-carbon strategies. He also worked at Total where he coordinated climate change actions and at Aecom managing environmental liabilities for various industries. Perez holds an Environmental Engineering degree from Agro ParisTech, an Energy and Climate Economics degree from Dauphine and an advanced degree in climate change management from Yale.
