Martin Rylance (Moderator)
Regional VP Wells and Global Sr. Advisor
Rylance's 36-year career with BP Exploration, its Joint Venture Companies and their partners has spanned living in 12 countries and pumping in more than 35. He has spent the majority of his time working in Hydraulic Fracturing and Pressure Operations. Specializing in new country start-up operations and technology transfer, Rylance has also provided Training Courses and set up operational teams in many countries.
Technology Fellow, Production Enhancement
Since 2013, Dusterhoft has held the role of technology fellow at Halliburton. He has been with the company for more than 10 years, also spending time as a Solutions Director. Dusterhoft’s specializations are in the areas of subsurface applications, shale field development and large scale simulation.
University of Texas at Austin
Sharma has been a Professor at the University of Texas for the past 36 years. His current research interests include hydraulic fracturing, oilfield water management and improved oil recovery. He has published more than 400 papers and has 23 patents. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and an SPE Honorary Member.
Principal Advisor, Well Stimulation
Singh is a technical expert in productivity enhancement technologies (hydraulic fracturing and acid stimulation) at Chevron Technical Center with more than 20 years of experience. He joined Chevron in 2012, and in his current role, Singh's focus is to solve the technical challenges for Chevron’s business worldwide in the area of well stimulation technology to produce energy in a safe, efficient, environmentally responsible manner.
