Chris Cutts

General Manager, K&M Technology Group

Chris has worked for K&M Technology Group for 6 years being based in The Woodlands, Texas during this time. Since joining K&M, Chris has held the positions of Sr. Drilling Engineer, Operations Manager, and General Manager. Chris has worked for several oil and gas operating companies, both small and large, in roles of Drilling Engineer and Drilling Superintendent throughout his career and has been in his current role with K&M since 2018. Chris has >14 years of drilling engineering and operational experience and is registered as a Professional Engineer with both the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.

Nils Kaageson-Loe

SPE Live Host, Society of Petroleum Engineers

Nils Kaageson-Loe is responsible for investigating, recommending and developing new initiatives and enhancements to expand SPE programs including meetings, publications, training and other lines of business. Since 2020, Kaageson-Loe has been host of the SPE Live and SPE Live Tech Talks.

Before joining SPE in 2018, he served in several technical and business leadership roles for Halliburton. He has also held technical and R&D leadership positions for BP, MI-SWACO and Norsk Hydro.

Kaageson-Loe holds a PhD in geological/geophysical engineering from Imperial College London and a bachelor's in exploration geophysics from University College London.
