The pair will also discuss a recent intervention operation in which working closely together enabled a quick turnaround of production log data to optimize reperforation design and complete a successful intervention in a single wellsite trip.

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Robert Fargo is a Senior Reservoir Engineer with Harbour Energy working on field development and incremental production enhancement projects. 

Through his career Robert has worked on projects including late Life Fields Review in the Southern North Sea, reservoir engineering field development for infill drilling and exploration opportunities. Currently he is responsible for production performance and surveillance in the J-Area of the Central North Sea working to maximise production from existing wells and develop intervention programmes to achieve better well performance, improved well integrity and increased reservoir understanding. 

Robert holds an undergraduate Master of Engineering Degree from Oxford University and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London. 

Robert Loov

Production Services Domain Champion


Robert Loov is a domain champion for cased hole production and intervention services currently working in Schlumberger’s Reservoir Performance Intervention Business Line. He has spent the last 24 years in the oil and gas industry with various roles in cased hole wireline applications both offshore and on land. He has held a variety of positions ranging from operations, operations management, business development, and sales before moving into his current role as domain champion, providing technical support for the North Sea and continental Europe logging and intervention operations. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada.
